What gets in your way

  • Discounts that eat the margin

A café asked for 20% off and you said yes. Is that loaf still making money?

  • One price list for everyone

Shop, wholesale and café customers pay different prices, and keeping them straight is guesswork.

  • Running out mid-week

Bigger standing orders mean bigger flour runs, and stock is hard to track by eye.

How Farinu helps

  • Price lists

Keep shop, wholesale and café prices per recipe, and see each one's margin before you send it.

  • Production plan and log

See what to bake each day from your orders, and log what came out of the oven.

  • Purchases and stock

Record what you buy, and stock goes down as you bake, so you reorder before you run out.

One croissant, three prices

A croissant that costs $0.62 to make, all costs in, earns very different margins depending on who buys it.

Shop price list: $2.50
75% margin
Café price list: $1.50
59% margin
A café asks for $1.20
48% margin
Your markup on cost
35%
Price Farinu suggests ($0.62 × 1.35)
$0.84

Every list price shows its margin before you agree to it. If a flour or butter price rise pushes one below your markup, margin alerts tell you which recipe to reprice.

Questions

Can I have different prices per customer?
Yes. Create as many price lists as you need and see each price's margin against the recipe's current cost.
Will I know when a price stops paying?
Yes. Margin alerts tell you when an ingredient change pushes a recipe below your target.
Does stock keep up with bigger bakes?
Yes. Record what you buy, and each batch you log takes its ingredients out of stock, so you reorder before a big delivery day.
How do I know the lowest price I can offer?
Each recipe's suggested price is its cost per piece plus your markup. A list price below it shows its thinner margin on the price list page, so you decide before you agree a discount.
